Choosing the right home

Choosing a care home for yourself or a loved one is possibly one of the most important decisions you will make.  In order to make a well informed decision you should have a methodical approach to obtaining information and considering the outcomes.  It can be easy to be over-whelmed by the options presented to you.  We have prepared this guide to help you make the right choice.

Arranging a first visit

If you would like to arrange a tour of the home, meet the staff and see how comfortable and happy our residents are please contact Claire Tighe, Manager or Nurse in Charge on 01282 437788. All of our visits are relaxed and conducted at your own pace.

Take as much time as you want, look around, have a cup of tea, it’s all up to you. We look forward to welcoming you in the very near future, we’ve already put the kettle on!

Care Quality Commission Report (June 2013)

“The home had completed two surveys since the last inspection. One was a general survey covering a range of matters concerning care in the home, the other was specifically related to ‘privacy and dignity’. Both surveys showed a high level of satisfaction with all aspects of care in the home.”
