Care Quality Commission Report (June 2013)

“We saw holistic assessments of needs were carried out before people were admitted to the home, which translated into comprehensive written plans of care. Included in people’s care plans were sections on life history, likes and dislikes and preferred routine. We observed staff delivered care to people in line with their individual care plan. This gave us assurances that people’s needs were appropriately assessed and that they received person centred care which met their needs. We noted that family members were involved in the care planning process where people lacked capacity to make decisions for themselves.”
