Make our home your home - we strive to provide the very best standards of care within our care homes.  We will always greet you with a smile and try to put a smile on the face of every one who lives with us.

Our commitment to training and development is paramount and we are driving up the standards of quality-of-life care within our homes through our personalised care plans, tailored activities, and our food and beverage offering.

We pride ourselves on the skills and dedication of our staff.  They deliver a person-centred approach and go the extra mile to generate an essential sense of community within our homes.

Residents can join in activities, use the communal areas and spend time within the hub-bub of the home or they can have quiet time in their personalised room or other peaceful areas of the home. It will always be their choice and staff will quickly get to know each resident and their preferences.

Safety and wellbeing is paramount

Walton Care is committed to healthy, safe and stimulating environments in which professional and personalised care can be practised to excellent standards. All staff are experienced in current standards, up-to-date with regulatory issues and delivering a care service with an emphasis on friendliness.

All staff are trained in mandatory and role specific topics, whether that’s Infection Control, Medications Management, Food Hygiene, Nutrition and Hydration etc.  We fully comply with regulatory requirements but go further to train staff in very specific areas to meet the changing needs of our residents.

Staffing levels are monitored daily to ensure there are enough well-trained staff to meet the needs of everyone.  This is reviewed across the team from nursing and care staff to maintenance, activities, laundry, kitchen and housekeeping.  It requires a complete team to make the home run like a well-oiled machine.

We carry out regular audits on all aspects of the home from care plan reviews, medications administration, nutrition and hydration, recruitment, training etc and will continually look for improvements and better ways to do things.

We give you peace of mind that you or your loved ones are being cared for by compassionate staff, 24 hours a day and that their safety and wellbeing is paramount.  We know this is hugely reassuring for our residents and their families.

"Our mother was a resident and all I can say is the care she received was second to none. The manager and all her staff should be very proud of the care they provide. Massive thank you to you all. You made all our family feel like extended family. Many thanks." Relative - May 2024
